The four rubber composite tires are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they're not designed for off-roading. They struggled with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel, so mud stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy, and it was able to climb pretty hillocks that were muddy.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning on the middle of a busy road. The feature that the seats can be reclined independently was also a big hit.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for sun or wind protection. They did not offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It might be worth carrying an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our test participants loved the way the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park for a playdate. The testers were also impressed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. The lack of parent-facing seating and the inability to use a car seat on this buggy were both noted as a drawback by our test participants. They would have also wanted a bigger storage space for shopping and other gear.
